Poll Features
It is widely known that many famous artists, composer, and authors have had the frustration of having a work they felt was sub-par gain huge popularity while pieces they worked harder on and adore sat un-noticed. This is the same for everyday deviants. I recently ran a poll asking for deviants to share with me their thoughts on this and share their own art. Daily Features
On my profile page, I feature a new deviation every day (or two or three). The piece is usually something that caught my eye. Could be an amazing digital painting, a fun stamp, a quick photograph that made me smile, perhaps a piece for a weekly theme, whatever. However, it moved me enough to share it with my visitors. Below is a list of the artists which I featured during October 2012. I am showcasing different pieces from their gallery in the hope of showing them a bit more love. Make a Difference #199Artists join deviantART to share their art and appreciate others. Due to the many artists out there, it's easy to get towed under and generally obscured from the public.
Make a Difference aims to do exactly that. This series of articles will hopefully make a difference to you as well as the artists featured weekly. Just by giving one minute of your time to write constructive comments, favourites and even watches will make a difference to these artists.

Not So Traditional Tuesdays #8The things that make one piece of art great applies, for the most part, to other genres. A painter can learn how light and shadow fall from photography, photo-manipulators can learn about composition from a great
Manga drawing, and literature can give you the inspiration to try something new or take your work to the next step. You may never try all art forms you see! You can however take what you learn from them and
incorporate that into your own work. It could be the difference between stagnating and that breakthrough every artist wants to find! Now on with the show!
